God's Reasonable Request (Romans 12:1-2) Complete surrender? Lord is this thy request Of all favored ones thy grace hath so blessed? Doth thy mercies beseech an unreasonable thing Of those saved from sin and the offering thy bring? Why the command "come out from the world" With full consecration and colors unfurled? Are these the demands of a judge stern and strong Who requires future right to atone for past wrong? No, love such as that revealed at the cross, Which rescued our souls from such sinning and os, Can only implore us to show in some way Thanks for His suffering and the price He did pay. May we therefore surrender completely to Thee, This body of flesh so that all may now see By this, and taking a separate stand, That we're living our lives now just as He planned.
