“They Grow Up So Fast”—We have all heard the statement, and we know it is true. All too often the craziness of daily activity and routine cause us to live in survival mode. Years ago in his song, Cherish the Moment, Ron Hamilton reminded us of how important is to relish each moment and how fast our little ones grow to adulthood.
Watching our five oldest grow up and mature to be godly young men and women, has been among the most treasured joys of our lives.
The loss of our middle child, his wife, and their unborn baby girl has caused us to be reminded over and over again just how fragile life can be and how important it is to cherish each moment we have with those who are the dearest on the earth to us.
Our youngest came into our home as a result of what the world calls “an accident”, but we are trusting our Sovereign God as we rear Chase for His glory. So tonight our hearts is warmed by the music of three-year-old Chase singing Silent Night. We are equally touched by our now eight-year-old Chase playing Once in Royal David City on his violin. |
