Are the words from poem on your blog ‘God Is Good’ from a song? I thought I heard it on a Christian radio. Where can I purchase it?

God is Good
By: Cheryl Reid & Ron Hamilton
When Joseph was in Egypt land he wasn’t there alone.
He knew the Lord was there with him though he was far from home.
In every test that Joseph had he did as he should,
Though others meant to do him harm, God meant it all for good.God is good, Through every trial and test,
God is good, And I know His way is best.
Even when I cannot see, The purpose of His plan,
Still I understand, God is good.Endure each test God sends to you and seek the Lord each day.
When things are tough God’s strong enough to help you find your way.
Remember Joseph trusted God, did the best he could,
In every trial Joseph had, God meant it all for good.
God is good, Through every trial and test,
God is good, And I know His way is best.
Even when I cannot see, The purpose of His plan,
Still I understand, God is good.

James 1:17 says “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Exactly one year ago this week God gave our family a very special gift. A gift that we would come to more fully appreciate in less than a two week time period.
On July 13, 2013 my sister and her family drove from South Carolina to Indiana to spend the entire week with our family. Our immediate family was all together, and we were excited to spend time together and attend the Jamboree at Colonial Hills Baptist Church each evening. As I reflect back on that week, my mind is full of many special memories, and I am thankful for the gift that God in His goodness provided for our family. Almost every member of my family was involved with the Jamboree at church so in many ways it was a busy week. It was a joy to watch Chad serve the Lord as he prepared for the Jamboree and emceed each evening. I love this picture of Chad that Courtney shared on her Facebook that week. Her caption was, “Chase is working hard to help set up for the Jamboree! You don’t want to miss it!” During the week the Lord allowed our family to build many precious memories together. Just a few of the special things we were able to enjoy together as a family include: a county fair, a trip to the zoo, and a visit to a farm. One of the last evenings that we were all together we made a last minute decision to visit the private pool at the senior citizen development where my brother, Daniel works. Only our family was there, and we all have treasured memories of the time spent together that evening.
Psalm 107:1 says, “O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good.” Since July 27, 2013 when my brother, sister-in-law, and unborn niece entered the presence of their Lord, I have repeatedly had to bring my focus back to the goodness of my God. I miss Chad and Courtney more than words can tell, but I am thankful for a promised reunion in heaven. Recently, the Lord has encouraged me with the words from this song. Truly my God is good!!!
