On May 9, 2007 as a Freshman in college Chad preached in the Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium at Bob Jone University. This was the first time in the school’s 80 year history that a freshman had ever preached in front of the entire student body. It was clear at that time that Chad was a tremendously gifted and motivated communicator. I was still in High School at the time and I remember being in awe of how my brother could stand in front of 5000+ people and calmly present the truth’s of the Word of God to them. I snapped this blurry picture during his message. Looking back its amazing to see that even then God was preparing us for the tragedy we would experience 7 years later. The sermon Chad preached that day was taken from Matthew 8: 23-27. The title of the message was “Finding Faith in the Storm.”
In the midst of our storm we find comfort and hope as we listen to this message from Chad. The link to this powerful sermon is posted below. |
